I found this funky card on SCS last week and thought 'yep, that adds just the special something I want for this persons card'. Teamed with Makeesha's latest sketch (again!) I'm really happy with how it turned out. I chose the BRIGHT Pink Flamingo DSP because this person leans towards brighter colour choices and it suited her to a 't'. Plus, I could use the fabulous Fifth Avenue Floral lily - again.
The card itself it quite self-explanatory, lots of panels of colour!!
I triple layered the lily again - see detailed photo below - after white embossing it. I also clear embossed the stamen before fussy cutting them and adding a little bit of chunky glitter on the very ends (you know the bits that get EVERYWHERE in real lilies!!). For the back circle, I layered a few circles of Tempting Turquoise that had been inked around the edge. I fussy cut a daisy from the DSP to attache onto the greeting and added some more sparkle with chunky glitter. When I set the card up, I realised the large flower on the back left hand panel was looking a bit... white, so used my blender pen with Summer Sun to colour in the center dots of it. Much better!!
Back view - I used my blender pen and Cameo Coral for the outside flowers, and my good ol' Real Red Stampin' Write marker for the inside one.
Back view closed.
Just a bit if detail for you!
Thanks Keesh for helping make this special card what it is!
